Vidhai, SalesIQ, and the SalesIQ Chrome extension

This policy explains what information Vidhai collects, why it is collected, where it is held, and how to have it removed. It covers the website at vidhai.co, the SalesIQ platform at salesiq.vidhai.co, and the SalesIQ Chrome extension.
Vidhai is operated by Vidhai Labs, based in California, United States. Questions about this policy can be sent to privacy@vidhai.co.
1. The SalesIQ Chrome extension
The extension has one purpose. It connects the web page a SalesIQ user is viewing to their own SalesIQ workspace, so they can save the company or person shown on that page into that workspace and see the account and contact information SalesIQ already holds for them.
What the extension handles

What the extension does not do
- It does not read pages the user has not activated it on.
- It does not collect browsing history, and it does not build a record of the sites a user visits.
- It does not read emails, messages or chats.
- It does not collect health, financial, payment or location information.
- It does not run any code that is not contained in the package published on the Chrome Web Store.
- It does not show advertising and it does not carry third party advertising or tracking scripts.
How the data is used
Information handled by the extension is used only to deliver the purpose described above. It is not used for any unrelated purpose, it is not sold or transferred to third parties for their own use, and it is never used to assess creditworthiness or for lending decisions.
2. The SalesIQ platform
SalesIQ is a business tool used by organisations under their own accounts. It holds:
- Account information for the people who use it, such as name, work email address, role and workspace membership.
- Business contact and company records that a customer's users research, import or save, together with the research, notes and outreach drafts attached to them.
- Call recordings and transcripts where a customer uses the calling feature, subject to the recording notice shown in the product.
- Usage records needed to run and bill the service, such as when research was run and how much of it.
Each customer organisation's data is isolated from every other organisation's. Users see only the records their own workspace and their own permissions allow.
3. The vidhai.co website
The website uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic, and stores an email address and a chosen frequency when someone subscribes to the newsletter. Subscribers can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by writing to the address above.
4. Where information is held, and who processes it
Information is held on servers in the United States. Vidhai uses a small number of infrastructure and service providers to run the product, covering hosting, databases, email delivery, telephony for the calling feature, business data enrichment, and AI model providers used to produce research and drafts. These providers act on Vidhai's instructions, are bound by contract to use the information only to provide their service, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Vidhai does not sell personal information and does not transfer it to third parties for their own use. Information may be disclosed if required by law, or transferred as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case affected customers will be notified.
5. Security
Access to customer data is restricted by account and by role, transport is encrypted, and credentials held on a customer's behalf are encrypted at rest. No system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, and material breaches affecting personal information will be reported to affected customers.
6. Keeping and deleting information
Information is kept for as long as the account that holds it is active. When an account or a customer subscription ends, its data is deleted or anonymised within 90 days, other than records that have to be kept for legal, tax or accounting reasons.
A user can remove the extension at any time from Chrome's extensions page, which removes the sign-in token and preferences held on their device. Records already saved into a workspace belong to the customer organisation and are removed through the product or by request.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask for a copy of the personal information held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to certain uses of it. Residents of California have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Vidhai does not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by that Act.
To exercise any of these rights, write to privacy@vidhai.co. Where the information sits inside a customer's SalesIQ workspace, Vidhai acts on that customer's behalf and will pass the request to them.
8. Children
Vidhai's products are business tools and are not directed at children. Information is not knowingly collected from anyone under 16.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed, and material changes affecting customers will be notified by email.
